Cathrine Knudsen

Catrhrine Knudsen is an autodidact artist who started to paint with a specific need to express herself. The road from thinking to picking up the paint brush wasn´t long. Her father and grandfather expressed themselves through art, and she finds great inspiration from looking at the works of Jens Johannesen and Kjell Nupen.

-This is a way for me to express myself. My paintings opens up the opportunity to challenge myself creatively, which has meant a lot for me the last years- says Cathrine Knudsen

The surface is made up of wood boxes (PDF) which makes it easier to work heavier against the surface.

The source of inspiration are the immediate environments, other exhibitions, books, and personal experiences both in the private life and in business life.
