E.C. Corbitt can be said to represent a form of expression in the pop art. According to himself is he realist that wants to describe "street people". Corbitt has the ability to give the tragic a humouric dimension. The humor is shown through the form of fantastic, twisted and deformed bodies and figures that seems to be the work of a machine.

You can wonder of this double sided sacasm. Playing with the abstract form and the tone is ironic. No other in the pop art tradition has managed to present a picture form like Corbitt.
